Sterling Silver Etched Teardrop shaped earrings with hematite stone

Hand fabricated antiqued .925 sterling silver earrings deeply etched with a lacy design, each earring set with a shiny black 5mm hematite stone and then burnished to a warm glow.

Flattering teardrop shape is 1” x 2” total length including the sterling silver ear wires.

An acid etching technique is used to get this unusual pattern onto the sterling silver. After the silver is antiqued it is burnished so that the dark areas remain dark but the raised areas give off a radiance rather than a bright shine.
